FOUNDER

Stephanie received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1995, her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago (with study at London School of Economics) in 2001 and continues to be an avid and enthusiastic learner. She held several positions in both Chicago and London for a Fortune Global 500 company, fast tracking her way to senior management, before deciding to follow her passion, move back to Rhode Island and start a career in real estate. 20+ years have passed since that decision and Stephanie has never looked back. Along the way, she has cultivated a loyal following of clients and a deep knowledge of the ins and outs of real estate. Her own experiences with buying on the East Side of Providence, coastal Rhode Island and Nantucket help her to guide and educate her clients. Stephanie has a keen understanding of what they are looking for and thoroughly enjoys helping others with finding that special home or in making smart investment choices. It’s the satisfaction of helping others achieve their goals that motivates her every day.  She is the recipient of multiple customer service awards, peer review awards and sales awards by volume including the KWAOR Circle of Sales Excellence awards 2005-2022, Rhode Island Monthly’s Peer Reviewed Professional Excellence Award winner 2015 – 2022, Real Trends top 1000 agents in the US 2022 (ranking in the top 1.5% of all agents), and the Five Star Professional Award 2011-2022.

A Founding Agent at the new Compass Providence office, Stephanie is incredibly proud and excited to have formed The Stephanie Basile Group.  Working alongside her team of agents, transaction coordinators and support staff,  Stephanie and her Group are dedicated to customer service.  Their mission statement is to improve the lives of their clients, family and friends through real estate, whether it be purchasing a primary home or investment property.

If she’s not busy planning her next client party, you’ll probably find her on a sunny beach or on a soccer field somewhere in New England. She loves everything about Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Her experience has taught her that leaving the Ocean State after high school gave her an even heightened sense of appreciation and desire to move back.  If you’re ready to make your move, she will make it a fun, creative and exciting process.
